-Students were assigned their Final Projects - they are welcome to select any current or historical event to study and present on. They will spend the next 2-3 days researching their event and then create a power point on Wednesday/Thursday to present in class on Friday.
-They are being asked to summarize the event, understand what lead up to the event (causes) and what effects this event had on society (consequences). They are also being asked to determine how historically significant this event was.
-This project together with the Final Exam will make up 20% of their Final Mark.
-We will use part of Thursday's class to discuss the material that will be on the Final Exam.
